About

About Me:

There are few things more important in my writing career than telling a great story, a fun story, and one that inspires us to be a little better than we are. I hope in reading my books you gained comfort, laughs, or an escape from your every day life. Thank you for spending time with me and my characters as we try to fill pages with laughter, love, and a little adventure – even if it’s a bit over the top!

Official Bio:

The book that changed my life!

After Nancy Drew was encased in a plaster statue to starve, suffocate, and die, Tricia Cerrone decided pursuing writing would be safer than sleuthing.

She is currently writing THE BLACK SWAN FILES—a near future, ya sci-fi, adventure series about a teenage girl with superpowers who struggles to find her family and the home where she belongs. The series has been applauded for its emotion, humor, diverse characters in STEM, and making you want to turn the page. The TV Pilot script for The Black Swan Files has also been receiving accolades on the screenwriting circuit. Tricia’s first feature film screenplay, THE SKELETON WATCH won The Writers Lab competition, and was a semifinalist in the prestigious Academy Nicholl Fellowship among other awards. Her latest feature, a comedy, DIVERSITY JOURNEY, placed top 10% in the Academy Nicholl Fellowship and is soon to be on the contest circuit. Tricia Cerrone is a former Walt Disney Imagineering executive where her focus was on innovation, storytelling with new technologies, and talent development. She is a strong advocate and mentor for young people who seek to find their place in the world.

Ms. Cerrone is also Lead Writer with former colleague, Edward J. van Luinen, on  COLLABORATE TO COMPETE, a leadership book based on their work together plus their experiences from their combined 40+ years of work at Fortune 500 companies, extensive research, and interviews with global leaders—including CEO Jenny Ming, President of Niven Enterprises and former Disney leader Mary Niven, BLNG AI Founder Dumëne Comploi and others. In this book Cerrone and van Luinen teach:

  • the five behaviors to create a culture of collaboration and why they work
  • how to use noble purpose to unite and motivate teams and individuals through even the toughest times
  • the immediate steps to implement collaboration on your team – today!
  • how to recognize and overcome the barriers to collaborations in yourself and others
  • how to support collaboration long-term and grow it in your organization

Ms. Cerrone also writes Historical Romance (for anyone who loves epic love) under the pen name, Trish Albright. Siren’s Song and Siren’s Secret in the Keepers of the Legacy series have collected a number of awards. The Time Keeper, is a Christmas novella that captures all the action, romance, and snappy dialogue she is known for in her other historicals.

No matter what she writes, hope, humor, and heart are the hallmarks of Tricia’s work which celebrate friendship, family, achieving your goals, and making the world better for all.
